Alaska Casino Cruises. AK

Cruises to Alaska have become a very trendy vacation, so it is no wonder that casino cruises have been added to the mix.

Alaska Casino Cruise

Most of the regular cruise lines that sail to Alaska have casinos on board, but now some of these cruise lines and travel agents have included special tours for those who enjoy gambling.

See Alaska – For Free
They say that the average gambler will lose more than he wins, but who would have thought that gambling would pay off with a complementary cruise to Alaska? For qualified table players and slot players and their guests, some travel agencies sponsor casino junkets, such as a seven-day casino cruise to the 49th state. Sailing on Las Vegas-style casino ships, players have the opportunity to compete against other serious gamblers while enjoying the luxury of a first-rate ocean liner. The cruise offers all the normal amenities found on a cruise ship.

Or Pay for the Chance to Gamble
If you aren’t eligible for the complimentary casino cruise, it is still available for those willing and able to pay for the opportunity. Customers must deposit $15,000, or establish that the money is available (those who have a $25,000 deposit are guaranteed exterior suites with an ocean view and private balcony). The minimum table bet is $100. Minimum slot bets are $5-$10 per pull, for 4 hours per night.

The cruise leaves from Seattle and stops at ports in Juneau and Skagway, with a cruise of Glacier Bay, among other stops. Games available include Caribbean stud poker, Pai Gow poker, craps, let it ride, blackjack, roulette, and slot machines.

This is not a cruise for casual gamblers.

Cruising with Gambling
Cruises on lines such as Holland or Princess Cruise Lines may not be casino cruises, per se, but the casinos are so large and inviting that they might as well be! Cruises taken during the off-peak season are extremely inexpensive – leaving more money available for use in the casinos. For the more casual and inexperienced players, not to mention those with smaller bank accounts, this type of “casino cruise” is the best option.
